As a founding member of Samara Capital, Tasha Winkler plays a vital role at Strategic Wealth Partners. Using her deep knowledge of the industry, along with her passion for making a real difference in the lives of her clients, Tasha works one-on-one with individuals and families to help them achieve their investment goals.

In 2021, Samara Capital joined forces with Strategic Wealth Partners to further personalize and enhance the client experience. Samara Capital was founded in 2017 to deliver a premier level of service and investment guidance. As Senior Wealth Advisor, Tasha is responsible for planning and implementing her clients’ financial strategies. She also focuses on investment research, long-term investment portfolio management, and building lasting relationships with her clients.

Strategizing with clients to understand their unique objectives is what Tasha thrives on. Her personal goal is for clients to look back one, five, or ten years from now and feel confident that working with her was a great decision.

Before starting Samara Capital, Tasha was vice president and senior financial advisor at Union Bank, where she served high net worth clients. Prior to Union Bank, she operated as a financial advisor at Key Bank and Merrill Lynch. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and her MBA in Finance from the University of Portland. Additionally, she holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses along with her life insurance license.

Tasha lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and dog. Outside of the office, she loves to run and travel, as well as volunteer for the nonprofit Friends of the Children, which works to end generational poverty by serving at-risk-youth. Tasha is also a board member for the Oregon State Bar, where she assists in the formation of public policy of Oregon attorneys.
