Ignacio D’Windt leads SWP’s local Houston presence. With a rich tapestry of experiences spanning multiple countries and fluency in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, he brings a global perspective to SWP.

Having witnessed firsthand the profound impact of financial decisions on diverse cultures, Ignacio recognizes the significance of comprehensive planning in navigating life’s transitions and challenges. His mission is to assist clients in building, managing, protecting, and transitioning their wealth effectively.

As a financial advisor at Strategic Wealth Partners, Ignacio crafts bespoke financial strategies that encompass wealth and financial planning, pre- and post-retirement planning, investment and portfolio management, risk mitigation, tax optimization, intergenerational wealth transfer, estate planning, and charitable giving.

Drawing from a distinguished career that includes roles at Wells Fargo Advisors and Merrill Lynch, as well as legal expertise as an Assistant General Counsel for a Hedge Fund Manager and an Associate at a tax law firm, Ignacio is uniquely equipped to serve as a trusted liaison among clients, their legal and accounting advisors, and family members. His academic credentials, including a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Andres Bello Catholic University, underscore his expertise and commitment to excellence.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Ignacio is dedicated to community service, having served on various boards and committees, including the Board of the Thomas More Society of Galveston-Houston and the Georgetown University Alumni Club of Houston. Residing in Kingwood, TX, with his wife and five children, he finds joy in family gatherings, sports, travel, and cultural pursuits such as attending the opera and exploring art museums.
